Supersonic BOV

Turbosmart Supersonic is designed to reduce turbo spool-up time between gears for even greater performance from your turbocharged vehicle – at the same time they are a must have for vehicles running increased boost levels over standard as the factory BOV is designed to leak boost!
Another benefit is the protection they provide for your turbocharger from damage by reducing turbo cavitation on throttle-off and gearchanges – they also sound great with that famous Turbosmart whoosh. Our BOVs have a simple tool free adjustable cap that is used to tune the operation to you and your car’s personal preference – easy!
FEATURES:
• Faster turbo spool-up between gears means greater performance!
• Made from billet aluminium
• Tool free spring tension adjustment – tune the BOV to suit the vehicle
• 38mm positive seal piston
• Quick release V-Band clamp
• Small and light
• Choice of Blue or Black colours
• Supplied with vacuum fitting, weld flange, plumb back fitting and V-band assembly
• Wide range of adapter kits and accessories also available
APPLICATION:
• For medium sized turbocharger system on 4 – 6 cylinder engines developing 200 – 600 HP
• Ideal for street, circuit and rally cars

Hi there,
Writing from Auckland…and everyone is raving about your new Supersonic BOV’s…especially in the UK which is where I am forced to buy most of my parts…
Wanted to confirm the suitability / compatibility of these BOV’s for my 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale 2.0l Turbo 16v.
Can you pls recommend a distributor in Auckland, NZ.
Cheers, David

Just a quick note regarding pricing. As a manufacturer we can’t quote you pricing, because it varies from country to country and is dependent on currency. The best bet is to get in contact with your local stockist of Turbosmart products, they are likely to have competitive prices and will be able to give you a good deal. Hope this answers all the “pricing” questions.

I am in the process of trying to install a turbo on a 1973 MGB with a crossflow head, which has never been done before as i know of at this time. i have downloaded all of your manuals and information but i have not been able to find information on the basic installation of a turbo on a 4 cyl engine. is there some kind of drawing showing the basic parts and where they are installed on an inline 4 cyl engine . i am a ASE master tech for the last 30 yrs but have never delt with a turbo. i have no idea of what is needed or where the parts are installed other than the turbo goes on the exhaust manifold and is connected to the carb in some form. can you help me?

Danny,
The BOV is mounted after the turbocharger, before the throttle body. If you look at our Vee Port instructions, you will see a layout of where to place the BOV and other various parts on a turbocharged system
