Dealer Spotlight: Carter Racing
Carter Racing Enterprises has been in business for over 18 years. Originally founded in the circle track and road racing arena they’ve grown to also include winning drag race cars, street cars and high-end builds.
Mickey Carter, the owner of the company, has worked on Winston Cup car teams, was the track manager at Roebling Road and has built countless champion cars for privateers and large companies. Among his many victories he is also credited with winning the Pan American Road Race.
The current Carter Racing shop – a 6000sq feet facility, with 12 bays, an outside wash bay, alignment machine, Dyno Dynamics dyno, fabrication area and front office was custom-built six years ago.
Carter Racing specialty is fabrication. They build everything from drag car 6-point to full-tube chassis, from full road race cup cars to NASA weekend warriors. With both TIG and MIG welding, Stainless Steel and Chromoly and welds that can be certified by the appropriate sanctioning body, Carter Racing Enterprises are the ture leaders in their field.
Apart from fabrication, Carter Racing have also been building custom turbo kits and motors for over 10 years.
Carter Racing have recently joined the Turbosmart Authorized Dealer network and carry a comprehensive range of Turbosmart products and spares. With their vast experience in fabricating, turbocharging and tuning both domestic and import performance vehicles they are an ideal ambassador for Turbosmart brand.
